      CRACKED BROKEN WOOD. Don’t buy. – The wooden mouth area was/is cracked. Covering the holes to play doesn’t show any difference in tone. It looks pretty, but if it doesn’t sound right because of the crack; what good is it? It was delivered wrapped up in a brown paper bag and taped. Maybe better care in shipping and there might not be damage. Finally…you get what you pay for.

      carving is pretty, but not really made good enough to play music – This flute really just looks like a wooden recorder and plays about as well as a cheap one from the dollar store. But it is very pretty

      Gorgeous – This is gorgeous. However, it does not have a thumb hole on the back, which does limit the range of sound. For the price and craftsmanship…. I’m probably going to continue to learn to use it because it’s gorgeous
