Amazing – These things are amazing and hold up surprisingly well. The different thicknesses are versatile.

These picks are great for acoustic recording. – I bought these picks to try out on my all mahogany Martin D15-M. I found that they sound much better than any of the name brand plastic picks in .43mm-.71mm. They feel great in the hand and as long as you play normal, as you would for recording, not stage, there is very little pick noise. They make my silk and phospher strings sound complete.

Interesting Set – I ordered these because I wanted to hear if these had a different sound to the regular celluloid picks. I have various picks from nickel, copper, metal, sea shell, fins, and the regular plastic, but I had never tried wood. I am not sure of their durability, but since I play different styles of music and on various instruments I need to give them a trial run before I use on stage. I like the colors and patterns and the tone is mellow and rather subdued. They are the same size as your regular picks. I took a picture to compare size. I would have liked for the logo to have been in the middle for a bit more handling and grip. I am going to try on my mandolin to see if it can take the ware and tear of picking. These were an interesting find and set.

The Picks Are Awesome – Although the order had other things I bought them along with these awesome picks. The Zebra Wood pick is my pick. I’m a retired carpenter, so I knew the woods. I recommend these picks to any string musician.

Neat but not very practical… – These picks are THIN. A beginner would like them. They do produce a unique sound that would work great for recording but probably not last through half a live set. I am a sucker for natural wood and these LOOK nice. If you want something for live sets look around for the thicker ones

These solve a major problem – First the bad: they are too thin and aren’t going to last long. I think they could be both 2 and 3 times thicker and I would be very happy!!! Now the good: I was interested with trying wooden picks because I thought there was a chance that they wouldn’t sloop through my fingers like all plastic pics eventually do. I was right. They don’t slip because any invisible moisture on your fingers gets absorbed into the wood I guess and doesn’t sit on the surface so these picks stay stationary between my fingers rather than rotating clockwise like plastic picks always seem to do. Now if they only wade these thicker…but not too thick like the other ones sold on Amazon. Those are way too thick!!
