It came in a nice blue box with a carrying case packed separately as if it is an afterthought add on ( hence the one-star deduction). It has also a small drawstring bag if you prefer not to put it inside the carrying case. A small booklet with a few tunes is attached as well as some printed numbers and thumb protectors as well as a small hammer for tunning. All and all, a good little present. The sound is good. I tried tunning it with an online app, and all sounds fairly well-tuned. I am happy with it. May get one for myself too.
