Loud & clear – Bought this as my Lee Oskar and Seydel Bb were both inconsistent in the lower registers, and getting more unpredictable with every gig. Right out of the box, I was impressed with the consistency of volume and tone on all of the notes, blow, draw & bends. It was also louder than either the Seydel or Lee Oscar (or Hohner Special 20 I had retired). Been through two shows with it, and so far so good. I didn’t experience any of the screen-print issues others mentioned. I like the shape of the casing, as it’s easier to hold onto (I have to sing & play guitar guitar during the particular song – “When the Levee Breaks” – and when I’m not playing the harp, I hold it between my right-hand ring and little finger). I ordered an A and a D to try as well.

Loving my first Polar – I am not a professional player but i have several harmonicas that i enjoy playing, that are airtight and easy to bend on. Some of the sets of harmonicas i own are Dabell Nobels, Knongsheng Mars, Lee Oskars, Hohner Special 20′, Turbo harps and Hohner Golden Melodies. I would recommend any these as they are airtight and bend easily out of the box. I was itching to try something new and I was debating between the aluminum combed Kongsheng Solist or the Harmo Polar which i had been eyeballing for sometime. So i decided to go with them for now and get the other at a later time. So I bought a C to try and if i didnt like it i would clean it and give it to someone interested in learning to play.

This harmonica surprised me! – I’m used to a certain feel and look for a harmonica. And a certain price.

A review and tip for beginners from a fellow beginner – Before I tell you about the harmonica I have to tell you a short story. You might think it’s about a different instrument at first, but trust me you’ll understand the point I’m making. About a year ago I decided to learn music and the kalimba was my choice because it’s easy to learn (hard to master). I bought myself a $15 kalimba. After a couple of days of practice I just gave up because it sounded like garbage and the keys weren’t adjusted properly so it was constantly going out of tune. Fast forward to this years lockdown and I decided to try kalimba again to pass time. This time I got a high quality kalimba for $55. The difference was like night and day. My new kalimba sounds so good that I love practicing with it every days. It looks good and feels good too. So why am I telling you about a kalimba? Because I had committed the exact same mistake with harmonicas a couple of years before that. So the lesson I learned, that took two mistakes, is that I will never again just buy a cheap instrument for the sake of cheapness. Do yourself a favor and heed this lesson. Get a good instrument and enjoy it. Skip the frustration I went through.

Loving it! – My boyfriend bought a different harmonica and I fell in love with it. Naturally I ordered my own! After a week I’m able to play single notes in each of the holes although I’m still struggling with two and three. It’s a great pastime in the morning or in the evenings when I find myself a little bit idle. Hopefully I’ll be able to rock out like the pros pretty soon haha.

Beautifully designed harmonica ergonomics with players in mind. Full rich tones & built solid! – I love the Harmo Brand Harmonicas. What you see pictured are the cases and harmonicas I personally purchased. They were designed with harmonica players in mind. Harmo incorporated beautifully designed harmonica ergonomics with its rounded contours and slightly oversized comb air passages. Feels rock solid in the hands with no worry of pinch points while playing. Great tones at reasonable price points!

Best Harmonica I’ve ever played! – It simply sounds better, and ergonomically fits my lips better for bluesy, folksy, and rock styles. Best harmonica I own, and Ill be replacing my other keys with Polars.
