My favorite strings – I have been using these strings for a long time now. I play like 4-6 hours a day and they last me a few weeks (up to a month) before the high e string snaps. The tuning stability is fantastic. They work great for my playstyle. I tend to do a lot of 1 finger half step bends like marty friedman and these make it very easy to do so. Makes it very easy to play fast aswell since the strings are so light u barely need to press them. Also getting a nice vibrato on ur bends becomes a lot easier. I see some people saying u need high action to not get fret buzz with them but that is not true. I use relatively low action on my strat and get none. I recommend these strings but they will take getting used to. Especially if u are coming from heavier strings. But once u get used to them they are great. Only downside is how they don’t last me very long but 10 dollars a month is no big deal to most people so it’s not that big of a deal.

Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Strings – Great warm tone. Fingers glide easy up and down neck. Very playable. Stays in tune after bending strings. I have locking tuners. I wipe down the strings with a cloth after playing and the strings last a long time. The ends are Fender bullet for better sustain, tone and they don’t get stuck in your tremolo. I love the super light strings on the top and regular gauge on the bottom end. These are my favorite Fender strings.

Not for me – I think I am just too heavy handed for these strings. The feel was way too thin and the sound was even thinner. I found myself over bending a lot and vibratos all over the chart. If you have a light touch these are probably good for you. The quality is good and they lasted surprisingly well. If you are used to playing a heavier gauge string, these will be a big leap and may take a while to get used to.
