Very close match for vintage style hardware. Fits American and Import strats. – The picture shows on the left my original MIJ tip with one slot and on the right the spare replacement tip I ordered that had two slots. The color match is 98% of the original al MIJ one. Since my guitar is a few years old the plastic ages and changes color so it will never be a perfect match, but this is very close unless you stare at it up close. The tip accommodates the two different size switches Fender makes (American and import models). This fits very snug on my switch and does not fall off.

perfect fit and color – perfect fit and color

  3. K. E (verified owner)

A little loose on my Ibanez – A little loose on my Ibanez. I used gorilla glue to make it stay in place

  4. F. H (verified owner)

Fits perfectly and looks great – Have a 1970 strat. Was missing the tip on the switch. This fit perfectly and looks like the original that came with the guitar.

Expensive pieces of plastic you need – These matched perfectly, so I caved in an bought em. The first thing I noticed was the finish was very poor- a visible seam with stray plastic required filing down, otherwise the little bump would easily be felt when switching. To further age these I rubbed them with a little fine sandpaper. Still can’t believe I spent this much on something so small, but whatever- they look great!

Works for MIM strat switch perfectly – I lost my original switch tip for my Made-in-Mexico Strat. This replacement fit perfectly.
