You get what you pay for. – The unit works and tunes a guitar as any tuner would. The unit seems a bit flimsy and I won’t expect too much time for something goes south. The battery compartment is a joke. Once in, it works like I said.

Is as advertised – This little tuner is awesome! It’s small and comes on as soon as I clip it on my guitar. It also saves it own battery by turning itself off 5 min after not using it. Very satisfied with this purchase!

Sweet Little Fender Tuner Has A Very Cool Pivoting Head – I’ve been a working musician for about 30 years, and I have had many tuners, including strobe tuners, little pocket units, stomp pedals, rack mount units, and for a few years now, clip-ons. I think the Fender Flash Tuner Lite is fantastic. It has a big, easy-to-read, colorful screen which is easy to see on dark stages, and the way the display is set up, tuning is very obvious, and pretty much fool proof.. What really makes this tuner better all the other clip-ons I’ve tried is the really cool clip and pivoting head. They are pretty sturdy for this type of tuner, and you can position the tuner head almost anywhere you find comfortable. I have been tucking mine in behind the G-string tuner on the front side on my Jazz bass, which I have not been able to do with other tuners. It is right there, an inch from the G-string tuner, so it’s super easy to tune up, and it’s protected when it’s on a stand during the breaks. Your money is well-spent on the Fender Flash Tuner Lite. I really like mine, and I’ll probably get a few more for my other basses.

Swivel is limited. – The Snark works great until it breaks. This Fender might not break, but it lacks the swivel versatility of the Snark. I like to set up the Snark to read behind the headstock of my bass. This unit doesn’t read so well from back there. Upside down. So I attach it to read from the front. I don’t like that look as much. But it’s easy to use. I really like the feature that turns it on when it clips on.

While I am not the guitar player, I do have ears 😉 – I am not the user of said item. I am however the girlfriend of said user. He is not a professional player he is, rather a grizzled veteran of a drummer who also dabbled with guitar “stuff” as I call it 😉 (I am not a musician so pls forgive my lack of related terminology) That said… we had been through a home fire and we lost pretty much everythng except a few itemsof clothing plus a small few personal items and what he had in storage at a friends. We are gradually re-acquiring the things we had prior to the fire. One of those few items of his was an acoustic guitar but it was not in good shape. Since he restrung it and tuned… its actually pretty good. My ears can tell he tuned it and the product purchased worked. 😉 he is happy to have it as well as to have it tuned (as am I! )
