Easy Replaecment – My old guitar was getting a bit of random static after playing it 4-6 hours everyday for about 6 months. I traced it down to the output jack. I had the old one out and this in about 10 minutes. I also put a drop of blue Loctite around the retaining nut as that has a tendency on all my guitars to come lose after a while. This jack was a perfect fit and the sound is crystal clear from my guitar again.

  2. F. F (verified owner)

It is a good product – It is a quality fender replacement part. It is of good quality and has worked well for me

  4. E. A (verified owner)

Good enough – Its a jack. Its by fender. If it was in a pile with other random input jacks I probably wouldn’t know the difference. Is it better that the others? Heck if I know

  5. D. K (verified owner)

Just the right thing! – I bought the Fender part for my MIM Stratocaster. I do not know what happened with the original, because I was given the guitar with a jack connection issue. The Fender part fit fine, and works perfectly. Initially there was no signal to the amp. Perhaps the contact were coated and I had to insert and remove the jack several times. After that no problem. Fender does not make this part. Someone else stated that it was a Switchcraft part, $1.59 versus $5.99 for the Fender. It is a bit tricky soldering the wires to the jack, but a third hand, alligator clip on a stand, makes it possible.

  6. C. N (verified owner)

It is what it says on the tin – Its a fender jack. I used it to replace the jack on my 81 fender bullet. No having to wiggle the cable about to get sound. Its a vintage guitar (matching the vintage guitarist) so I wanted something that would match. It appears exactly the same as the original. Some things don’t change.

  7. R. O (verified owner)

Nice improvement – Nice improvement over the squier jack that I replaced

Solid quality – I have an SX Strat that I love, however the output jack became if’y within a few months. The Fender jack is more substantial and has a very positive and consistent contact. Lots to love about the SX except for the stock jack.

Fixed my problem – I switched out a squire pickguard for a loaded Fender pickguard. For some reason the squire jack caused excess “hiss”. Installed this one, and it sounds great now.
