Scratched and one side seems to have rough/sharp edge – OK so one of the other reviewer‘s noted theirs arrived scratched, so did mine. acrylic scratches easily I get that but I would’ve at least liked to have gotten this without a scratch to give it someone as a gift. Also, while I’m holding it, the left side is very rough along the edge. The right side feels smooth like it’s been finished. so it’s uncomfortable to hold. it sounds wonderful but disappointed in the craftsmanship and the quality of this item

Sounds beautiful, came mostly well tuned but those end tines are STIFF! – I really love this kalimba a TON!

Nice instrument but scratched – I figured out two songs on my own but I played music a lot when I was younger. They do provide two songs for you. One has a mistake but you’ll figure it out. Overall, fun to play. I’m bummed it’s scratched but I bought this on a whim. It was affordable and does what I wanted it to. Helps me relax. I wanted another rainbow acrylic one but it was sold out. I actually love this one much more. The rainbow sparkly stickers within the acrylic are beautiful.

It sounds pretty, I found it really calming to play. I found it fairly easy to learn, the book that comes with it was a little confusing to me, but I ended up trying several YouTube tutorials and figured it out pretty fast. I have a fairly short attention span, so I was really happy with how easy it was. Definitely need to buy myself one now.
