      Beautiful and well made. – This is a gorgeous instrument. There are no dead tines – even the uppermost tines sound nice. The tines are smooth and soft on the thumbs. The sound is pure and sweet. As with all acrylics, the sound is much softer and the body is much heavier than that of a hollow wooden kalimba. If you are hard of hearing, looking for loud volume, or a very lightweight instrument, this isn’t for you. However, if you would like a quality acrylic with a sound level that won’t bother anyone, and sounds sweet even if you don’t know how to play, this is a great choice.
