Beautiful instrument . Not tuned – This is a gorgeous flute . The only problem is it is not tuned. As a beginner, I didn’t know this until it was too late to send it back. All the holes are the same size and I have watched Utube videos now that show different sized holes. I downloaded a tuning app and several holes produce the same note even with different fingering positions. Very Disappointed.

AMAZING ONCE YOU COVER 2ND HOLE WITH TAPE! – Beautiful piece! Unreal for the price. For a beginner use tape over dizi hole (2nd) hole. YOU MUST COVER HOLE TO GET SOUND. Using real stuff they sent is awesome, but not until you can get sound out of the whole thing. Watch few YouTube videos on it and practice blowing like you would a bottle of water. Took me a minute but now I want one of each key. Great for hiking etc. Low weight, beautiful, and cheap enough you can give it to kids or beat it up. Then come back and rebuy to support this great product. Wait to buy nicer pieces till you love it. Great for kids to learn. So thrilled now i know the tape trick, packing works great, then scotch for more resonance sound.

Wonderful – I had trouble figuring out how to put it together but found a great video on Youtube. It was shown on there how to attach the membrane to the second hole and what to use if you do not have membrane glue. The video was posted by Musical Molly Khan
