An awesome Beginner’s Flute! – This is my first flute, but I’ve been around them, and many other instruments enough to tell that it’s a great option for a beginner. As far as I can tell (still working on my embouchure, having previously been a Brass guy), the tone is great so far, and it’s in tune. I assume the action of the keys is not as what you’d expect from something in a higher tier, but they certainly work, and feel very responsive when pressed. It’s hard to fully judge the quality without having played others. But I have handled many woodwind and brass instruments, so I feel like I’m a decent judge of build quality, and this beats my expectations.

Great beginner flute! – UPDATE: My now 10 year old has been taking lessons for about 6 months and this is her playing the flute, so you know how it sounds (from a beginner). We’ve had no issues with it. Her teacher says everything is outstanding for a beginner flute!

Great Beginners Entry Level Flute So Far – It is very difficult to review an instrument that you want to learn to play. When you first use it, you might think it is good, but any problems with keys don’t show up until you learn it better. I have taken some time to learn this so far, and so far it is pretty nice.
