Takes a lot of breath – This is a super fun instrument to play and it sounds nice. The case it comes in is nicer than expected, although I wouldn’t put it in my checked luggage 🙂 It’s like cloth-covered board, so not a soft case but not hardshell either. The set comes with three tubes so you have backups or so other people can play it too. It takes more breath to play than it should but it’s workable for less complex stuff. It’s a lightweight instrument which makes it easier to handle, but it does make it feel a little toy-like. It’s very fun regardless. It might be frustrating for a young/beginner musician if they can’t produce enough air to play what they want to play.

Didn’t Recieve All Items Advertised in Image – I Ordered this Because it advertised multiple mouth peice included, appon arrival I noticed that I didn’t receive the two Long tube mouth pieces promised. Everything else was Fine But not receiving the mouth pieces was Strange. In past experience I get Forgotten pieces in the Mail a few Days Later but I’ve still not Received my Missing pieces, my Wait is Over so I will be Complaining

Good melodica for beginners. – Good and cheap starter melodica for beginners or those who just want to play around with a melodica. The build of the instrument feels solid and not too plastic-y. The instrument comes with two short and two long hose mouthpieces, which lets you play how you want and allows you to share the instrument with someone else if needed. Also comes with a nice felt-lined travel case that has a hard shell behind the canvas, definitely a good case to keep your melodica safe. This instrument does take some breath support to play, especially if you’re trying to achieve any sort of polyphony/play cords.

wow now i can add another instrument to my wind based colection – I can’t call this a woodwind instrument because there is no wooden reed to challenge the air waves. I will call this instrument wind based because it depends on your blowing into it to make it work. I am a fan of this instrument and was not even aware they were available in America.
