I love this kalimba! – This has such a beautiful, rich sound! It does come keyed to B, so I rekeyed it to C (easy to do from YouTube videos). I have small hands, and this is easy to hold. Some people complain about the smell. It is camphor wood, so it has a slight mentho/eucalyptus camphor scent, which I find relaxing. It seems to already be going away somewhat, sadly! I bought a different brand of kalimba and returned it – the sound of this one is so much better! Sorry about the blurry video – I couldn’t hold it far enough away to record in focus.

Amazing Quality – I bought this for my mother as a Christmas gift. But I didn’t tell her that because I wanted her to enjoy it before then. She absolutely loves it. I didn’t know anything about these things so I went on YouTube and did some research. Found this Asian woman playing it and saw the model she was using. She, my mother, says it’s a really great kalimba, perfect fit for the hands, and superb build quality. It came with a bunch of accessories and a pouch to keep the Kalimba safe in storage. Overall, she’s very happy. And if she’s happy, I’m happy.
