A very nice singing bowl set for beginners – This is a very beautiful and intricate singing bowl set that also comes with a Chakra crystal stone set and a pendulum. First, the bowl itself has a very nice weight to it and feels very well made as well as the striker. The bowl comes in a very elegant light blue case which is made of nylon I believe and can be used to store the bowl and crystals for later use. Secondly, getting the bowl to sing is something that takes some practice because I tried and tried and tried and tried and I couldn’t figure out what I was doing wrong. After watching several YouTube videos and more practice, I finally was able to make the bowl sing. It wasn’t pretty at first, but WOW! THE BOWL CAN SING! It’s an amazing feeling once you finally get the bowl to sing and definitely worth all the practice. As for the crystals, they are very beautiful to look at and can be used for meditating as well, although I wish they were real, but overall, a very nice addition to the set. This will make a nice gift set for anyone who is looking to begin meditation classes, sweep some stress out of their lives or just a nice complimentary gift that doesn’t break the bank. A++

Nice little set..but think mine was used – So I loved this set. I noticed right off the bat that the little cushion had to rip in it which I can sew, but still. The bowl itself has some scratches on it so I’m wondering if it was used or was a returned item. And it has a chip in the lip which can snag on the mallet. After a few tries I did get it to sing although of course it didn’t last long because it’s not a crystal bowl. But this is my first Bowl so what do I know LOL I went to their website to get the ebook but it wouldn’t take my email address and the website is not secure. So I’m waiting to hear back. I love the necklace and the Pendulum and the stones although the amethyst was more of a dark blue when it should be purple, although that I know there are blue amethysts but still. I really like the set but I would like the book so I may exchange it or return it. We’ll see what happens. Otherwise it’s a nice little set.

Practice makes perfect – First of all, this is a truly beautiful bowl, not to mention the crystal set that you can choose to wear in a necklace & the pendulum (which I’ve actually yet to use but am excited to try). I wore the lapus lazuli crystal as a pendant the other day and got a compliment on it. The only reason I took a star off btw was the zipper on the holder for the bowl broke only after a couple of weeks. But I’m already attached enough to the bowl and crystals that I don’t want to return or exchange it. Now as for the most important thing…getting the bowl to sing. This is something I REALLY struggled with and I didn’t figure out what I was doing wrong until last night. I was on the verge of thinking seriously about returning it b/c I thought maybe I’d gotten a lemon since I couldn’t get the thing to sing even after watching several YouTube videos about it. Finally I realized that what I was doing wrong was that I was rubbing the mallot counter clockwise on the bowl instead of clockwise. As soon as I started doing it clockwise it sung like a canary! I was also using the wooden part of the mallet on the bowl at first because I thought it was easier to get it to make sound but once I actually figured out how to get it to sing, I realized why the padded part is suggested, it gives it a much purer sound as opposed to the wooden part which makes a scraping noise on the bowl. Anyway let me tell you what other people wrote in their reviews is so true, it’s such an amazing feeling once you finally get the bowl to sing…just pure bliss and definitely worth all the practice. I will just reiterate make sure you are playing it clockwise and of course make sure to lay your hand flat when holding the bowl. Also, make sure no jewelry is touching it either. But again I can’t say enough how beautiful the whole thing is, I’ve already been using the crystals for my meditation, I use Chakra incense and will either hold the coordinating crystal or put it in the necklace and now I can finally add making the bowl sing. It’s a shame the holder it came in broke but even so I still absolutely adore this set & would definitely recommend it as a gift to other spiritual friends who like to meditate ♀️ ♂️ update-I’m bumping up to 5 stars because out of nowhere the zipper started working again last night on the container. I must’ve fixed it with the beautiful sounds from the bowl
