Works great for my USA Martin’s – Worked great for my guitar humidor. They’re a little pricey, but after receiving them, they are very well built. I can’t complain.

Unable to use on floor joists – I purchased this for use in my basement workshop that has 2×6 joists for the ceiling. The mounting base on this hanger only allows for horizontal mounting, not vertical and the mounting holes are spaced farther than 2 inches. If the mounting base swiveled, allowing multidirectional mounting, then I could have used it. Unfortunately I had to return it. Maybe an idea for a version 2.

Excellent Ceiling Mounted Stand – These are excellent ceiling mounted guitar stands. They mount very easily, and are made very well, and I feel safe hanging my $1000.00 plus dollar guitars from them, which is saying a lot. I also like how you can angle them anyway wish to achieve the look and usability but you want. I bought 4 of them. I have a small space and to have 4 guitar stand sitting on the floor just wasn’t doable. I also have really thick fabric soundproofing on all my walls which eliminated the ability to have guitar stands mounted on the walls. So these were a perfect solution.
