Has the features I wanted . – I like this metronome for its simplistic features and ease of use . I am happy with the features is has , such as different rhythms , the voice count off and different counts up to 9 . The volume is loud enough to hear when playing and the built in stand is convenient. Very happy with this item as a practice tool .

Does What I Bought It For – The unit I received mostly performs exactly as advertised. The least useful function is the timer. With timers available everywhere (like kitchen timers for example?) and much cheaper than this metronome, I can’t imagine why Sondery seems to be so proud of this feature. I almost didn’t purchase it because their ads kept mentioning it as apparently a key feature. And it’s good I didn’t want the timer function because it doesn’t seem to work on the unit I received. Following the directions I tried to set the timer for the various time periods supposedly included. The 15-minute time period is the default, and on my unit the only one available. According to the directions one pushes the timer button to start the 15-minute timer, then pushes again to get the 30-minute period, again for the 45-minute period, etc. On my unit pushing the button to select other timer periods merely cancels the 15-minute period and turns the timer function completely off. The rest of the unit performs flawlessly, and I couldn’t be happier with it. My only problem is that it is quite small, and I have large hands, making the tiny buttons and dial a little difficult to use. Not impossible to use, just a little clumsy. I’m sure as I use it, the controls will become more intuitive. As it is, I set it up the way I want to use it, and it performs exactly the way I want. I’m quite satisfied and would definitely consider buying it again.

Very Good Metronome for the Price! – I wasn’t planning on spending a lot of money on a metronome so I wanted to give this one a try – so far I have been happy with it! The tempo dial takes a little time getting used to, but I did get the hang of it. It is plenty loud enough as my mom from the living room can even hear it with my door closed. I used my headphones in it, too, and it is even louder (doing this is recommended for noisy instruments although I do just fine using this metronome with my electric guitar connected to my amp). The lady who counts the beats in the metronome really comes in handy for me. Overall – it has been a very good and efficient product!

Finicky – The headphone jack is a bit finicky. You can seat it in too far and the jack will not work, so you have to fiddle around to find just the right position.

Excellent metronome! – As a musician I grew up with the old tick tock style of metronome. Now that I’m learning drums, I wanted to find one that I could use with headphones and would be easy to use. I was pleasantly surprised to find that it had a variety of rhythms, including syncopated rhythms, that helped with certain drum patterns. The only thing I would improve would be the volume. It would be great if it was a little louder.
