      Well made plastic – These are substantial kazoos, albeit plastic. They are not flimsy or brittle and they all survived a 6 yr old’s birthday party. The only caveat is that the membrane that produces the sound in cellophane instead of tissue paper rendering a sub average sound. Sad because they had so much going for them.
