      Ocarina – This is the second 12 hole Ocarina we have bought for our 14 year old grandson. He really loved his first one and even took it with him on a family vacation to NYC. However, he dropped it and it broke. We just replaced it for his birthday. It was more fragile than was expected, hence I could not give it 5-stars. But, it is certainly his favorite gift. I’m not sure he is learning songs to play but is enjoying creating his own melodies and sounds. Since we aren’t with him all the time it doesn’t annoy us like it does his 16 year old brother.

      Was a bit nervous about potential quality problems – I was concerned it may end up have airy notes on the higher end, but was only a few cents out of tune. No airy notes on mine. Having fun with it. All in all, not a bad find.
