Just like Peter Pans – Perfect for son’s Peter Pan Halloween costume. The reviews that say it does not play are incorrect however there is a steep learning curve and a background playing a musical instrument helps. My husband, a former tuba player, was able to pick up and play right away by holding it at the correct angle and blowing in a particular way. My kids and I could not get it to play at first but we are getting the hang of it after a couple of days. Keep practicing and you’ll get the hang of it! Only complaint is that has a very strong paint/lacquer smell that hopefully wears off with time.

Nice pan flute! – It’s sturdy and strongly made. Good for adults and children. Beginners too. It has musical notes on the back of each pope key. At first it may not sound right. You may need lessons. You have to have knowledge of the pan flute.

Lovely, playable instruments at a great price – Quite a few reviews claim that these are ornamental and not instruments. Ignore those reviews as it seems to me that they were written by people who simply did not know how they were to be played. For example, one person took a picture of the closed ends of the pipes and said that she nearly blew her brains out trying to blow them open. I give her kudos for her attempt, but that’s totally the wrong way to play a panpipe. These are not recorders. You don’t blow through the pipe.
