Great tool, poor shipping. Not sellers fault… – Great tool, poor shipping. Not sellers fault. I believe it was shipped from Amazon directly. It was shipped in a soft pack and all 4 corners were bent and folded. I did return it for a new one. They shipped it the same way but it was acceptable. But this is a great functional tool!! I would give it 4.5 if I could.

Easy to use, but made of cardboard. – Musical transcription for changing keys of music. Easy to use, but made of rather thin cardboard.

Backing card flimsy. Needs protection for mailing. – The actual transpose wheel is okay, but the large square backing card is made of thin card stock. It was shipped in a yellow envelope and when it arrived, the backing ‘card’ was all creased up due to the thin envelope with no inner protection and the thinness of the card. Lots of black marks on the envelope from mailing, and the brass wheel grommet was a little scuffed up. You can gently remove the wheel from the card but save the card as it’s got info on the back side you’ll probably want to keep.

Good Transposer – This is a handy transposer. What I really like about it is that it also has all the major and relative minor scales within the transposing tool, so it’s easy to practice your scales by just looking at the positions on the wheel. In the Middle it also lists all of the Key signatures with their corresponding sharps and flats. This thing is really nice and simple. Here’s a quick tip though if you transpose in your head, there are only two notes without sharps B and E.
