Great sounding and versatile shaker – I’m really happy with this shaker. It feels durable, and blends well with the band. The grooves do make it easy to hold, and it’s really quick and easy to split it into 2 shakers, to use however you want. For recording, it’s great to have 2 choices for tone.

Way louder than you’d expect. – Way way louder than the Meinl shaker of the same size. Not sure how that twisty center is going to hold up over regular use either. Would spring for the Meinl in a heavy use setting, such as a Latin band. But this would be fine for a church or school setting, or in my case, occasional use in a classic rock band.

Innovative idea and sounds pretty darn good too! – Great product. I love the innovative idea of being able to twist to unlock them and have two shakers to either hand off to another band member or to have one in each hand. They sound great (I have the medium version).

Cool little shaker. – Now I have all three of these LP dual shakers. The loudest isn’t really loud. I play with my church’s music dept. every Sunday playing congas and other light percussion. Sometime we want a different vibe or feel to the music and having a variety of shakers/sounds is nice to have. Well made, should last a good long time. The sound is smooth, almost like brushes.
