Great product. Sounds great – Great product. Sounds great. I have played it with spoons and metal thimbles and it sounds great. i put to eye bolts in each side and a small section of twine so i could hang it around my neck and it looks and sounds great. I haven’t used it to wash clothes but judging from its construction I would imagine it would work well for that also.

Great tone as an Appalachian musical instrument – I needed a washboard to serve as a musical instrument for an Appalachian selection in a concert. This washboard sounded great. I used a paint can opener to strum the washboard. I held the strait part and used the round part as the strummer.
