Go for the cheap tin drum- this may look cool but my kid would rather bang on a pot. – Didn’t produce the sound that I thought. Quite small. Wasn’t impressed and neither was he kiddo.

We love the sounds from the drum – We love the sounds from the drum. Expect 2 pitches in tone, and 2 different timbres of each pitch. One timbre sounds more flat, the other more rich and, shall I say, hollow. When I purchased the drum I expected 4 different “tones”. Technically, there are. Just 2 of the same pitch.

The wood is not super well assembled – The wood is not super well assembled, and the “tones” are very weak. The much more expensive slit-box designs, and traditional xylophones are much more educational and interesting to our baby.

Absolutely love love love this drum – Absolutely love love love this drum! Our son loves playing with it as well as niece’s when they visit. Really nice quality and makes a nice sound.

Why can’t I get one undamaged?!? – UPDATE: I AM NOW ON DRUM #4 AND IT IS STILL DAMAGED. NO RESPONSE FROM SELLER ON LAST REVIEW AND NO RESPONSE TO EMAIL INQUIRY TO MANUFACTURER. I GUESS I WILL SPEND HARD EARNED MONEY ON DAMAGE PRODUCT BECAUSE MY DAUGHTER LOVES THE SOUND OF THIS DRUM SO MUCH. VERY DISAPPOINTING SELLER/MANUFACTURER. IF YOUR CHILD DOESNT KNOW WHAT THIS DRUM SOUNDS LIKE THEN AVOID IT. TERRIBLE SERVICE.
