Excellent beginner xylophone! – This Glarry xylophone is easy to play, sounds good, looks good, and comes with a good cloth case with zipper and handle, and two plastic mallets. The fact that it does not fold up gives a feel of stability. Of my dozens of musical instruments, this one stands out for simplicity and ease of seeing the spatial relationships of scale intervals. The melody of any song can be played on these 27 chromatic tone bars, which never need tuning or replacing, and which respective lengths visually reinforce the pitch differences. The frame is solid wood, and the parallel inner edges of the upper and lower tone bars, which do not overlap, create an artistic appearance. Most music players at any level of learning can appreciate the bare bones musicality of this neat music invention. Even young pre-toddlers who can sit up, can make music with this xylophone, supervised by an older musician.
