Great replacement buttons – They are what they are and they do the job well. These are metal so hold up better than the plastic ones. Only complaint is this is a package of two and I only needed one so the other one goes in a drawer or somewhere and will probably never be used.

Good buttons – I like the fact they are made from steel and not zinc. I find the shape and size effective for a firm attachment to the strap. I will buy these again when I need buttons. I actually had a small stockpile of buttons I bought back in the ’80s that I really liked and I ran out. These are nearly identical

Fender knows guitars – Nicely done…

Perfect vintage Fender style – These strap buttons are the ones to get if you’re building a guitar to mimic the style of original 50’s and 60’s Fenders. Bonus, they don’t cost a lot of money. I see people complain that they don’t come with felt washers, but Fender guitars didn’t come with felt washers in the 50’s and 60’s, and these ones are true to vintage style.

What’s there to say? – No complaints.

missing piece – the fact that it came fast was good but it only came with one button and three screws I believe there should’ve been two of each

Excellent Upgrade for Asian-Made Squires – For those into upgrading the Asian-made Squire guitars these are excellent upgrades. Although the strap button on Squier guitars work fine if you compare them you can see that these are made out of better metal and are shaped differently. This is an easy and cheap upgrade. I’m currently working on a Squire Bullet Telecaster and the only issue I had was that the stock strap button screws are a little larger in diameter. One of the strap buttons was a little loose after screwing it in but that was easily fixed by cutting off a small piece of a wooden match stick and putting it down into the already drilled hole to give the new screw something to grab on to. I am also working on a Fender Mexican Player Series Telecaster and in comparing the stock strap button on that guitar to these Pure Vintage Strap Buttons I could tell no difference so it appears Fender is using these on the Mexican-made guitars.
