Feel nice, but not when snapping in my face – I just received these strings today. I’d gotten some Elixir polyweb ones and I liked how those felt, but when putting them on the noise of my niece and nephew arguing in the background distracted me and I cut the wrong side of the D string…and the only other strings I had were the 12s that came on it when I bought it. Mismatched strings don’t feel great to me, especially not 10s and one from a set of 12s. I went looking for a replacement set and found these. They seemed nice enough and my acoustic is a Fender so I figured why not. I like the sound, they feel pretty good. I had a bit of trouble getting the pin for the B to stay but a little extra bending took care of that. I will say the high E snapped the second I put it on and started tuning it. Thankfully with playing stringed instruments my entire life I had the foresight to order two sets. The second one seems alright, though I was wincing in fear when I went to tune lol so far so good, I’m not completely in love but they sound really good and I like how they feel. I may go back to the Elixir for the next set I get though

Easy on the fingers! – These have good tone, excellent playability/bendability, and are easy on the fingers thanks to the coating. The Dura Tone strings cost more than the plain Fender acoustic strings, but they are worth it.

A decent backup – I am using them on a backup instrument. They’re okay, perfectly serviceable, but they don’t have the punch and resonance of Elixirs, which admittedly cost a lost more. I’m fine with using them for guitars I don’t play as much, but for my daily workhorse, I still haven’t found an economical replacement for the aforementioned brand.

Need replacement strings for your Fender Acoustasonic ? – These are the exact stock strings that come on the Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster and that’s what I wanted. I also bought a lighter set that starts with a .010 and enjoy them as well. Thank you.

Different color string, not as good in tone or fullness. – After a few hours I took these strings off and put on a set like the ones I had on it. The Color wasn’t the same, get feel was good but the tone wasn’t low like I’m used to. Very bright strings. I sort of knew all this before I got them but I tried these fender strings anyway.
