The case is very poorly made. – The Clarinet itself is acceptable and my daughter is happy with it but I will have to buy a better case. I bought this in February for my daughter’s March birthday. Since it is past 30 days I do not have the option to return it for the new case. However she started using it 3/31/2022 and it is now 4/11/2022 and the handle of the case is coming off. I am very disappointed in the quality of the case.

It only came with one reed, so you need to buy better ones. – I love that it’s red. They come in blue too! I first saw one when an orchestra member playing for a 4th of July concert….I don’t know if I’ll get a lot of use of it, as I haven’t played in years!

Good value – First off, I ordered a blue one and they sent a red one. My son said it was fine and he would just keep the red one, but it would be nice if they would have gotten my order right. The clarinet is decent for a beginner, but my son’s band instructor said it probably wouldn’t last long after inspecting it. The reed it comes with is terrible so plan to buy a few new ones.

Decent clarinet for the money. – The Clarinet sounds good. It would be a good beginner clarinet. The mouth piece I received there’s a chip on the very tip of it. The ligature doesn’t hold the reed still very well. Other than the mouth piece the rest of the clarinet looks very well made.

works great , beautiful, harder to play than previous intstrument – after playing a different clarinet this one was harder to play using the same reed from the other clarinet to the new one other wise it was a beautiful clarinet and worked fine

Beautiful – Played when I was younger for 6 years. Then Played in church years later. Have some breathing issues. Would much rather do my breathing playing than into one of those devices with a ball.

Replace the mouthpiece – I replaced the mouthpiece with a Vandoren with a single screw ligature. I use Forestone XS synthetic reeds. With these changes sounds great, easy to play. With a good sounding mouthpiece I would have rated value at 5 stars. Haven’t been playing long enough to rate durability. Later I tried a Yamaha 4c standard mouthpiece w/ Fibercell strength 1 reed. Sounds great.
