Nice little percussion instrument – This little instrument puts out a fairly large amount of sound, and is easy to hold. It doesn’t look like it is constructed all that well but only time will tell if I am right about that. Overall I’m thinking it is going to sound pretty good in a live situation.

Perfect Pitch! – Love these bells! Our community in Florida rang bells outside on Christmas Eve at a specific time and this product was easy to handle while shaking for two minutes! The sound is perfect and sound exactly like Sleigh Bells!

Solid Wood – These sleigh bells were a good choice for my small singing group. We needed bells to accompany Jingle Bells and other Christmas songs but that wouldn’t be too loud for a small ensemble. These are excellent. I would recommend them. They are constructed well on a solid wooden handle which makes them very easy to hold and not affected by outdoor temperatures as metal handles are. They probably are not as effective with a large orchestra or a large singing group simply from a volume of sound produced, but for a small group with usually just piano accompaniment they work very well.

I got these because of the price and the frequency with which they will be used (about once a year, at Christmas time). Despite having only 17 bells, they sound very full and resonant, perfect for that sleigh bell feel i know you’re going for. We used ours to cover “All I Want for Christmas is You.” And they did a great job sounding very much like the bells on mariah carey’s version.
