Great for beginners – The labels are super helpful for my kids and husband who are new players and are eager to learn how to read sheet music. My oldest son started his first year in band so for the most part he can figure out the notes and keys on his own w/o any help from me. However, it does NOT label the black keys (sharps & flats). I think the labels are meant to be very basic so once you familiarize yourself with the white keys you’ll learn how to navigate through the black keys once you understand the relationship between the sharps and flats.

Great for kids! – These look great and work well on our 1901 Knabe upright grand. They installation information mentions needing a 5mm gap from the back of the black keys to the piano and mine didn’t have that, but I did have enough gap above the white keys to slide it back and make up for it. It slid right in and works great! The kids like being able to match up the music to the note on the keyboard.

Great idea, but they don’t lay flat – I love the idea of this! Previously, I’ve used dry erase markers to label the keys on our piano, and I feel like this is a much better solution. The silicone is well made, and the colors are vibrant. My only gripe is that the labels don’t lay 100% flat. To apply, I held the black keys down, and fit the labels around each key individually. I still think they’re useful, but just wish they fit better.
