They do the job – These fit my trumpet (mid 1970’s Olds Ambassador) and cornets (70’s Olds Ambassador and late 60’s Reynolds Medalist) very well and give a good seal. I would have preferred them maybe 1mm thicker (9 x 5mm instead of 9 x 4) but they seem to work fine and look like they’ll last a while. Non-pro tip- don’t unscrew and remove the water key, just scrape the old cork out with a fine flathead screwdriver and replace it without taking the key off. Getting the water key (along with the tensed spring) back on is tricky on these older horns.
